Letter From the Recruitment Chair

Hello and Welcome to Georgia College!

My name is Catherine Kinzler, and I am Zeta Tau Alpha’s Recruitment Chair.

I would just like to encourage you to sign up for recruitment if you have not already. Georgia College’s Greek community is like no other and will provide you with endless support. The transition into college can be overwhelming, and by joining a sorority you will be surrounded by a group of women that will be there to help you through every step.

Our Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha is a hard working group of young women who strive for academic excellence, raise money and awareness for breast cancer, and volunteer in the local community. Our philanthropy is very close to our hearts and we host many events throughout the year to help support it. The two biggest events we host are our Thriller 5k and Strawberry sales, where we raise thousands of dollars each year. Our members volunteer in the community at the animal shelter, schools and in numerous community organizations.

Zeta Tau Alpha has helped me grow in way I never imagined. It has helped me learn what it means to be a leader, form friendships that will last a lifetime, and helped me find what I want to do with my education. This organization of almost 200 women is always there to support, encourage and love each other at all times. Whether it is on the field at intramural games, in the library before or a huge test, or laughing around the table at dinner, these women are always there. Zeta Tau Alpha has helped mold me into the woman I am today, and I can say with confidence that my college experience would not be the same without the women of Zeta Tau Alpha.

We cannot wait to meet you all in August and welcome you into the Georgia College community. If you have any questions please email me at ztakuvp3@gmail.com.

Enjoy your summer, and Go Bobcats!

Zeta Love,

Catherine Kinzler
